The commit for the next round appears when this round ends.

How a round stays fair

  1. When a round ends, the server picks a secret for the next one and shows its hash (the commit) and the hash of the holders who will play. Both are above.
  2. A few seconds before the round starts it takes the newest Solana blockhash. Nobody, the server included, could know it when the commit was shown.
  3. Every random thing in the round (who plays when there are more than 1000 gladiators, where they land, every swing) comes from sha256(secret : blockhash : round).
  4. After the round, its record (secret, holders, every trade by tick, result, payouts) is published. Anyone can replay it and check that the payouts follow the rules, and with --rpc that the blockhash is really the one of the Solana block it names, from between the commit and the start:
